How Make Your PC Go Faster

TIPS FOR A FASTER COMPUTER SYSTEM

No question, having a slow PC is a pain!, no doubt. Its so frustrating when it takes forever! To load up a program like Photoshop or illustrator, etc. You might even feel like taking your system, and SMASHING!! it against a wall or something, well HALT! I say to you, cause in this session we're going to see ways in which we can get our system to go even faster- or should I say Tips.

In this session am going to show you some tips on how to make your Pc work faster!. Just before that, I would like us to note that the following tips will not work for everyone. This is because, at times the reason why we have a slow system is because we are trying to do what it is virtually incapable of due to its hardware. What I mean is that you might be trying to use your computer for a purpose it can not perform well enough or even at all!, an example would be trying to run a Heavy software like Photoshop CC, and your system only has a RAM of 1Gb – this evidently does not meet up with the requirements of using Photoshop CC on any system, this causes the system to constantly fails and even overheat, as it is trying to run the software but is unable to because of its lack in hardware. In such an instance the best thing to do is to upgrade your hardware parts in this case – The RAM needs to be changed to a higher value ( at least) .

Therefore, be sure that you're not overloading your computer , check to see if your computer can accommodate the programs you're trying to run ( especially if you're a GAMER!!) . Alright let's get to it
below are a few but efficient number of ways to make your PC work faster!

FREE UP SPACE FROM YOUR PC

Yes, that's right! - Free Up space!, freeing up space from your computer can actually help boost your computer's speed and make it work faster. Its really not that hard to understand why – how well do you feel after letting out all that pee you've been holding up in a meeting!?. To do this you simply have to get rid of unnecessary apps and junk files from your computer . You could do this by using an app like CCLEANER, or simply use the in-built cleaner for Windows , its called DISK CLEANUP, if you don;t know where to look just type “cleaner” in the search box on the Start menu to find the app. Mac users, can just go for the  CCLEANER app.

⦁   Use Task Manager

The task manager, is an utility system software, that allows you to manage and control all activities on your computer, here you can monitor apps and background processes that consume space on your RAM, and slow down your system. When you find the culprit , you can simply terminate them!. But note that not all processed should be terminated, because they're some background processes that need to occur in order for your system to function properly – that's one heck of a tool eh? . To acces this tool, simply right click on any empty space on the task bar, and form the options choose Start Task Manager, or You could simply use the keyboard shortcut : “CTRL + SHIFT + ESC” , on windows!.
On a Mac this is known as the ACTIVITY MONITOR, performs the same function, mac users simply use the spotlight search field ( press CMD + Spacebar) then type “activity monitor” in the search box and hit enter to launch the app.

Defragment Your Disk:

De-fragmenting your disk, helps to boost your system speed by a lot, especially when your hard drive is clogged up!. The de-fragmentation process simply reorganizes the files on your hard drive, thereby making the system's brain lighter – that increases your speed!. To do this you could use a software like CCLEANER, to help you with the de-fragmentation, or use the in-built Disk De-fragmenter on Windows ( search for this app on the search box in the Start menu) . Most of the time Mac users, might not really need to de-frag their disk since the computer automatically does this, but if it does happen that you need to de-frag!, you could simply use an app like CleanMy Mac , to clean up your files.

Arbitrary Methods

Other things you could do, include:

Formatting and Re:installing a new Operating System on your computer, you're probably using an OS your computer simply can't work well with, so try changing the OS installed on your PC
Replace Old hardware components
Have your system's hardware cleaned Up and serviced: dust could make components overheat, hence slowing down your computer.
